Eastern Washington Eagles Football vs. Montana Grizzlies Football

Hosted by Roos Field

Eastern Washington football hosts Montana, and if you know FCS ball at all, you know this one carries weight. The Eagles and the Griz have been trading blows in the Big Sky for decades, and Montana travels well enough that the stands usually end up a split of red and maroon. Expect a loud afternoon, a lot of passing offense, and the famous red turf underneath it all. Roos Field is an open-air stadium on the Cheney campus, the kind of place where student sections, families and longtime season-ticket holders all end up shoulder to shoulder. Dress for whatever the weather's doing — there's nothing between you and the sky.
